Propulsion modules
Waterjet and propulsor technologies developed around efficiency, controllability, vehicle integration, and mission endurance.
Modular marine systems
Hidden Gradient develops modular propulsion, buoyancy, control, sensing, payload, and power technologies for long-duration surface and subsurface platforms.

Product platform
Each module addresses a critical driver of range, persistence, controllability, or payload utility. Together, they form a flexible development platform for next-generation marine systems. Current work includes prototype evaluation and field testing of modular payload, actuation, and platform technologies.

Modular payload technologies for signal collection and interpretation, environmental sensing, and mission-specific integration.
Compact power, mission energy management, and duty-cycle technologies designed to extend useful operation.
Hydrodynamics, propulsion, control, payloads, and energy balanced around a complete surface or subsurface mission.

Buoyancy control & sensing
Standalone underwater sensing or integrated vehicle depth control. A laboratory prototype has demonstrated closed-loop depth holding in water, with test data supporting high-fidelity model validation.
Explore DepthPodMulti-domain sensing & signature control
Development work spans sensing, acoustic and magnetic signature control, resonance modeling, signal collection and interpretation, and protective counter-UUV applications.
